New England Chili

Brown:
1 ½ lbs. lean ground beef

Add:
1 large chopped onion
1 cup diced celery
4 cups shredded cabbage

Brown slightly. Add ½ cup water and simmer for ½ hour.

Add:
3 cans pinto beans
1 large can tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. chili seasoning

Simmer 1 – 2 hours. Stir often to prevent scorching.

From frozen - reheat in crock pot or stovetop.
